In a related incident, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) recently apprehended three men of Georgian nationality in connection with a violent crime in Woodland Hills. These men, Paata Kochyashvili, 38, Zaza Otarashvili, 46, and Besiki Khutsishvili, 52, were charged with murder following a home invasion that resulted in the death of 47-year-old Aleksandre Modebadze. The suspects, who were found to be in the United States illegally, are each being held on a $2 million bail, with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placing detainers on them to prevent their release. The LAPD responded to the crime scene in Woodland Hills shortly before 1 a.m. on April 26, after receiving reports of a death. Upon arrival, they discovered Modebadze with a fatal head injury. Paramedics from the Los Angeles City Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene. According to reports by FOX 11 Los Angeles, homicide detectives allege that the suspects entered Modebadze's home, held him captive, and ultimately beat him to death.
