Five men arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences, Met police says

In a coordinated counter-terrorism operation, five men have been arrested across England on suspicion of planning a terrorist act, the Metropolitan Police reported. The arrests were part of a pre-planned effort to thwart a suspected plot aimed at a specific, unnamed location. While details about the intended target have not been disclosed for operational reasons, the site has been informed and is receiving police support.
